Kirklees Historical Wargames Group.

I am one of the founder members of the above club which has been running for about six years.

Before that I was involved with another local club which sadly faded away as it's members - mostly students - moved away or lost interst.

Game Design.

I have designed a couple of games in my time, mostly just for fun, though I did manage to sell a few copies of my 'Age of Sail' naval combat rules entitled "England Expects..."

This is the name I've given to my play-by-email game set in the Hyborian Kingdoms as made famous by Robert E Howard (and others) in the Conan stories.

I am writing a series of monthly articles for Raconteur. titled "The Wargamer". It covers my thoughts on genre, scale and rule systems, and is relevant to new and existing gamers.
